Warm groove, menacing atmosphere and driving patterns. Real dancefloor killer. 

3/ What was your best DJ set?
I enjoyed a lot my last gig one week ago. A private party in Berlin alongside Eerste Communie residents... pure ride all along the way! 

4/ In which places you prefer to play?
Intimate places, good soundsystem.

Madrid’s @rolldann has a mind of his own. Since taking up production in the late noughties, the vivid style of his work has become increasingly unique. With his signature dark polyrhythmic sequences, he caught the eye of Slam who quickly signed him to their SOMA imprint.

In September, Roll Dann appeared on our label’s inaugural release alongside Gareth Wild, supplying a stripped back, darkside remix of Gareth’s ‘Live Wire’.

For our next DETECT, he brought that same energy for an exclusive mix.

Our next guest is Szmer from Poland.
He has been active in the techno world since 2011 and since that time he took part in many events in both Poland and Worldwide (including Tresor and Suicide Circus in Berlin as The Effaith).
Recently he released on our "Prophecy 1.0'" compilation on Krad Collective, You can listen releases from Szmer also on Dynamic Reflection and Out of Place.

As a performer he is a solid live act and also an excellent selector in the dj booth, combining the pulse of aggressive beats with mental, ambiental and experimental flavors.
