Mister Willis is an english dj. During his 12 years spent in Manchester enjoying nightlife and club culture from a young age, the city was a fantastic place by having some of the best parties, records shop, music institution in the Uk and being surrounded by many djs/producers that made him develop his hobby to a passion and started playing locally. Now based in Berlin for 3 years he is the resident of Rave Atlas parties held in Suicide Circus and occasionally have a takeover at Hoer Berlin a few times a year. Over lockdown he started ‘Gardens’ with budding DJ Sparkling Water Dreams, a platform to showcase their music, that maybe don’t always get opportunities to do so. 
However Black owls is happy to have him onboard by offering us the second part of this series of podcasts.

@inishn is a Nordic artist and DJ known for their fast-paced sound and intentional interweavings of trance, techno and queer divinity. After falling in love with dance music during their time in Berlin, they aim to challenge conformity through their artistic expressions.

In their hometown of Bergen, Norway, they focus on driving the creation of autonomous safer, accessible spaces for trans and minority people, through their passion project ‘A Guide to Empathetic Spaces’ and queer club concept, Spirals. In 2019 they co-founded Norway’s first ever Trangender Awareness Week and continued working with the community by mentoring music production to transgender youth.

In this exclusive DETECT mix for FOLD, they begin with a track by Ukrainian artist Katarina Gryvul, before they go on to collaborate with the Brazilian, Norwegian-based, artist and writer Nayara Leite - blending Nayara’s poem with Inish’s unreleased track ‘Nadir’.

THERESE TERROR is delivering us an electronic trip through different genres for our podcast series this month.
Starting out in 2014, Therese Terror is a Vienna based DJ and promoter. She curates several lineups - especially in cultural contexts - and is an active supporter of gender equality and diversity within club culture. She hosts a bi-monthly radio show „Guilty Pleasures“ on the Viennese community radio, res.radio. Also she co-curates the series "DISHES" at Volkstheater Vienna, inviting artists from various experimental electronic music scenes. She is associated with the Vienna based collective BLISS as well as Hyperreality - Festival for Club Culture. Her DJ sets take in a wide range of styles from techno, house, driving acid, D’n’B, jungle, trance and leftfield electronica to pop anthems; fast-paced and full of references to various eras of electronic music.

Next up in the series is a real Copenhagen legend. The tallest of them all, keeper of an oldschool punishing record collection with gem after gem, and one of the fastest players there is when it comes to DJ sets: DJ Ibon. BunkerBauer resident, signed to Ectotherm Recording, and Fast Forward family! This mix represent his style indeed, fast, pounding, full of grooves and pleasant suprises. Missing Tapes 014 has arrived from Berlin. Mohajer started DJing and throwing parties from an early age in her hometown of Gothenburg. Mohajer's style is influenced by her Persian roots combining a love for hard hitting techno and acid grooves with serious percussion and rhythm. In recent times you'll have found Mohajer rocking some of Europe's favourite parties like MESS, Mala Junta, Endurance and Fast Forward. Thanks to Mohajer for the mix. Slam it on!
