Thank God It’s Five” today via iTunes in anticipation of his new album Quarter Life Crisis. Produced by DeKnight, L.A.F. is excited to share his new music and says “T.G.I.F. is an up-tempo and fun track
aimed to relieve social tension between bosses versus employees, the government versus the governed, and black versus white.” The Los Angeles native is no stranger to discrimination and social controversy but chooses to lighten the rhetoric by “just trying to have a good time,” the message so clearly outlined in his latest single. Fans can expect Quarter Life Crisis to showcase the stress of
becoming an adult and will highlight L.A.F.’s own experiences as a young father working against the social norms of 2016.

Mourning Sun

Las Vegas, Nevada December 17, 2012— Everything is loud, from his clothes and music to his thoughts and mindset. LAF is releasing his newest project, the mixtape entitled “Loud as F***”. The concept behind this mixtape leaves a message yet creates a movement to “live loud” and open your eyes to other ways of thinking or living. 

This mixtape is diverse with nearly every track a single from the party songs “Pillz” and “Twerk” featuring Da Kamp to the more conscious and message binding songs such as  “Half on a Dream” featuring Surreal and “Need Somebody” speaking up and out about worldly issues.

After all the anticipation and patiently waiting fans, Loud as F*** will be released on December 18, 2012 online. It will be released on a few sites such as Datpiff.com, Reverbnation.com, and Hotnewhiphop.com. Links to the download of the mixtape on the websites will be available on twitter, facebook, and the followlafdope.blogspot.com website.

The goal is to inspire, motivate, and encourage reflection to one’s self to take a different look on life and become something of themselves.

Truly gifted, L.A.F. born Lafayette Fletcher has made his stake on the hip hop game. L.A.F. has developed a distinctive voice in West Coast hip hop. He delivers powerful messages infused with witty word play and live instruments constructed on the beat by producer D Knight.
Due to an early divorce Lafayette was exposed to two very divergent lifestyles during his upbringing. With his mother residing in Orange County and his father in Inglewood, L.A.F. was influenced by the best and worst of both worlds. This is reflected explicitly through his heterogeneous sound heard in songs like Little big brother and Left Side.
While attending the University of Las Vegas, Lafayette created a buzz for himself catapulting his life in a new direction. L.A.F. is determined to be the spark that ignites a flame that will encourage the younger generation to do more, be more and seek more. He describes his style and passion as a modern day MLK seeking to inspire young people to see themselves as Kings and Queens.
