There seems to be a special aura that hangs over the city of Brusque, located near the Santa Catarina coast. There is no consolidated music scene, but somehow the place was the birthplace of new and promising talents, such as Filipe Rodrigues AKA Lipp. With one sensitive personality, he realized from an early age that music filled his voids and it was in Deep House's 'golden age' in Brazil, shortly after 2010, which began to cultivate an affection especially for electronic music.
“The only genuine friendship I really consider is the relationship I have with the music,” he says with an open heart. This sentimental side is still observed in his his posture as a DJ, worrying about the smoothness and delicacy in the mixing, making a clever mix of groove tracks between the minimal beats
complex. It is this main style that he adopts in his DJ sets, but there is always space for deeper and more romantic tracks, fluctuating between Deep, House and Techno.
During 6 years signing as Filipe Rodrigues, he joined the Odyssey Rec team, Antonela's record label Giampietro, released the remix on the Romanian label Welter Records and also signed the EPs “Apocalypse” and “Brava Green” by AIA Records, the label of Aninha, a Brazilian artist who is one of its great references and the track Kyoto by the label Urbans Soul, track with support by Jack Cheler at Inside do Warung.
Just over 1 year signing as Lipp, he already reaches high flights with his first album digital with 12 tracks released by Tzinah records from Romania, a reference label in the scene minimal, had his EP Solitude [WAPM] remixed by Vern and also signed with labels such as Totoyov, Createch, Mellowdy (Andrey Djackonda's Seal) among others. your tracks has received support from Brazilians such as Arthus, Doriva, Tarter, Leo Andreaza, Jack Cheler, Pricila Diaz and around the world names like Vern, Vesy, Direkt and the most recent, a support of the legend Barac at Puls Romania event, with video posted on official networks of the artist.
Paving his own way, he is also dedicated to some side projects,
responsible for Indica Label, an initiative that started as a party and today works as a record label in order to bring the main pillars of the brand: activism cannabis, harm reduction and awareness through connection with music.
And that's how it is, carrying a singular lightness and seeking to promote the feeling of freedom those around him, that Lipp is enjoying every step of the process, taking his time, but always aiming for a promising future.
