We live in a world where cultures are crossing across the geographical boundaries. Our beloved industry has shown us that music has been the backbone of this process. 

Music genres such as House, Hip Hop and RnB due to their flexible structures were the playground where those blends allowed to exist. It is very hard to travel with sounds yet keeping the very essence of the genre you are devoted to. 

The 26 year old Music Producer Salim, also professionally known as UGLY, is the very product of his path. A path that has been filled with travel and constant relocation from the four corners of the world. Originally from North Africa he has spent several years in some very mind opening and different locations giving him the cultural tools that he so passionately injects into his production. 

He has spent time in Asia, Africa, Europe and is now in Miami,FL planning to see where his music is going to take him next. The United States have always been in his mind as a destination and he now feels that he is ready to go and face the originators yet bringing something fresh to the table.

He already made a small but significant impact out here, catching the attention of names such as Tina Davis (former A&R executive at Def Jam Recordings and currently the manager of singer Chris Brown); Grammy award Nominee Producer Ivan Corraliza (now professionally known as ill Factor) who worked with Justin Timberlake/ Alicia Keys/ The Game/ Ginuwine/ Ricky Martin /Donnie Klang and David Banner just to name a few; David Whiteside (founder of Phantom 5 Music Group); Gingio Muehlbauer (founder and CEO of MC-Input.com); as well as in the UK with Rachel Kerr (daughter of the legendary gospel singer Dalton Kerr). He is also currently working on a few tracks with one of the finalists of the French version of the American Idol.

He has been able to make the best with small means and limited equipment making him a perfect candidate for the industry to embrace. He carefully studied the formula to cook up hits and has now broken down the code to keep it coming consistently. 

The dream is alive and slowly shaping up. Sky is the limit for this seven seas producer.
