There is no real symbolic meaning you can directly and rationally link this to. It's just what you see and hear. It's about what you feel when seeing and hearing it. It affects different people differently. It's some kind of art. A kind of art, where you don't just see some natural common landscape in a painting. For most people, when they see it , it's new and they can't really associate it or it's existence itself with anything. So they start wondering about it. Many people even see beauty in it. I don't really know, if it's not related to some kind of show or a parody, but i think it's just art. It's a bit different, special and new. And even though it's unusual, many people enjoy it. And that is probably why it exists. To be seen and experienced. 
Through the way this is done, the creator might express some things, maybe feelings. And in a pretty unusual way, he gets these feelings to the audience.
I guess that's what it's all about.
