Foluain Trio was set up in 2011 when bassist Neil O'Loghlen and saxophonist Jonathan Orland got together with drummer Matthew Jacobson to perform at the 'Jazz is...' Festival in Dublin. The band completed an Irish tour and recording in August 2012 and are currently writing new material and planning for the future. 

Their sound fuses the trio's collective interests in jazz, balkan, traditional Irish and folk music with a strong emphasis on openness and creativity...
