The opener hots hard with its crunchy drumfunk rhythms and room-thumping bass before Oddball takes the sounds of Jungle and twists them into a feverish onslaught of breaks that defy convention and haunting pads. Sugarstar quietens proceedings down with it's twinkling melodies, light pads and flowing drums. Midnite keeps the lighter vibes with a sprinkling of summery pads and bouncing breakbeats before the title track flips the narrative to a world of discordant timbres, each squaring off in a thunderous battle of frequencies.
