Der Wahnsinn bricht aus, heißt es gern, hieß es auch oft bei mir. Wo, wenn der Wahnsinn bei mir ausbricht, hat er in mir gesteckt? In welchem Teil? Wie ist er so unbemerkt hineingekommen, in welcher getarnten Gestalt? Da er in nahezu jedem jederzeit ausbrechen kann, muss er in jedem auch stecken nahezu und ausbrechen wollen. Nun aber wo? Gründliche Studien haben mir die Gewissheit gebracht: Der Wahnsinn lauert auf dem Grunde des Verstandes auf seinen Ausbruch und ist dem Verstande geheuer. Im Wahnsinn steckt Verstand (Methode). Verstand ist geregelter Wahnsinn, Wahnsinn ist entregelter Verstand. Er spricht in Hieroglyphensprache, das ist die innere Sprache der Kunsteisfabrik. (Mensch) Wahrscheinlich ist der Wahnsinn etwas, das nicht zum Vorschein kommen darf, keinesfalls aus seiner Gefangenschaft ausbrechen darf, weil er die Ruhe stört in Haus, Hof und Wohngemeinschaft. Vielleicht wäre es besser, wenn er öfters mal still zum Vorschein käme und hieße eventuell Phantasie. Auch Phantasie allerdings ist etwas sehr störendes, z. B in Büro und Fabrik. Man spricht von göttlichem Wahnsinn. Allerdings nicht in Lohberg. Hier bin ich vom Wahnsinn geschlagen.
