Raised in Shinjuku, Tokyo, DJ FOO was influenced early on by his mother, a musical theater actress, and grew up surrounded by the sounds of 80’s Western music. By age 13, he had become a full-blown rock fanatic, immersing himself in the electric guitar. 
After a heartbreak, his musical path shifted, and in 2013 he launched his career as a DJ.
In 2014, he set off to Australia on his own, performing at pubs, bars, and nightclubs across the country while sharpening his skills through raw, hands-on experience. Returning to Japan in 2017, he became a resident DJ at LAPIS TOKYO in Ginza, where he explored space production and the technical artistry of VJ and LJ performance.
Since 2020, DJ FOO has worked independently, expanding his range far beyond clubs. His career spans live DJ sets for artists, corporate events, TV drama coaching, and production work for music videos and television shows. 
Known for his sharp scratch technique and versatile open-format selections, he is celebrated for creating a unique synergy with his audiences.
In September 2024, he was appointed resident DJ at T2 
SHINJUKU, one of Tokyo’s most prominent nightclubs.
