What a great game and an equally great soundtrack! Although I haven’t finished watching it yet (I would like to play it, given that most people praise the gameplay, but I’m not rich and I don’t have a PS5), but tears are already flowing. Simply magnificent. As a fan of "Don't be afraid" from Final Fantasy VIII, I was very pleased with the new battle theme. However, the beginning confused me at first, but then I realized how cool it was done by alternating 7/8 and 5/8 time signatures, creating a feeling of inconsistency and haste. I can't help but mention Clive's theme (aka Rosaria's theme), the motive of which develops at the end of the track. How simple, yet ingenious!

In the process of arranging, I wanted to add as many references to themes from the previous parts as possible, however, I settled only on the battle theme from Final Fantasy I, and specifically two elements: an intro ( and an opening melody (it could have been more, but I added it only in the second cycle track, as it very much draws attention to itself). As you move into the final section, you may notice a small reference to "Don't be afraid". I'd like to point out that I added the anvil, as in the "Let the Battles Begin" theme from Final Fantasy 7. Also, unlike the original, I decided to add the Prelude theme in G minor to add variety to the accompaniment. I think it came out really cool!
