FOOMAS is a seasoned DJ and music producer who began his journey in the Portland, Oregon electronic music scene in 2000. With roots as a former event promoter and vocalist for two Portland-area bands, FOOMAS has been a dynamic force in music since 1996. He holds a bachelor’s degree in audio engineering from the Los Angeles Film School, a foundation that underpins his ability to deliver high-quality audio experiences at every performance.
Throughout his career, FOOMAS has explored the boundaries of sound, creating experimental projects like SHINEBOXX, a hybrid act blending live performance with DJ artistry. In late 2012, he stepped away from live performance after a memorable final show in New York City, opening for The Bogmen. Now, after over a decade, FOOMAS has returned to live DJing for a mix of fun, creativity, and peace of mind.


Currently working on two exciting new projects, FOOMAS continues to push creative boundaries while reconnecting with his roots behind the decks. In 2025, he will spend an extended period in Southeast Asia, bringing his unique sound to audiences across the region. Known for his deep expertise in audio engineering and an unwavering commitment to sonic excellence, FOOMAS promises an unforgettable experience at every set.
