The single The Gift Of Life

The bands second single was sponsored by the Gift of Life Foundation and has been recorded at Doyaya Studios under the supervision of Boris Cezek. The song entitled The Gift Of Life was written by Hilary Spiteri and speaks about the fact that life is a gift given to us by God, and thus we must always safeguard and protect life from its very beginning. The song relates the story of a young woman who is faced with the decision of having an abortion. Through Gods grace, the woman finally resolves to accept this gift of life being her child, and cannot help feeling astonished of how she could have thought of killing her own child. The selfishness of the human race is clearly exposed in this story, together with the fact that when one decides in favour of life, he or she will always be making the best choice. Footprints hope that the song The Gift of Life and the Music Video directed and produced by Rene Rossignaud will help to spread a positive message and be an eye-opener in todays pluralistic society.

Footprints - Gift of Life

The Long-Lined Road is a song which speaks about the idea of a perfect World where all the injustices and pains are put aside. The dream of a utopic institution where people may enjoy their life in a most human way. The song presents a dialogue between father and son; a dialogue between the experienced and the innocent, resulting in a mutual learning relationship.

The video was filmed and directed by Rene Rossignaud. The script was written by the band with some additions by Rene himself. Filming was carried out in September 2010 in different parts of Malta, namely in Rabat, Dingli, Siggiewi and Mellieha. The video takes us through a journey of different scenes of sorrow, pain and ways of life that degrade the dignity of every human person. The band is seen travelling by van through the beautiful Maltese countryside, searching for the ultimate destination being freedom.

Footprints - The Long-Lined Road

The album 'We Are' is a collection of 11 original songs written and recorded by the band Footprints during the last three years.  The album was mixed and produced by the band members themselves and the songs feature a variety of rock influences from Indie Rock to Alternative Rock.
