Nirvana is a concept in Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism that represents the ultimate state of release, the liberation from suffering and the cycle of birth and rebirth. It translates to ‘blown out’ like a fire that has been extinguished. It’s a state of perfect quietude, freedom, and highest happiness, and freedom from attachment and worldly suffering. 

The rounds of existence end when the fires that keep the process of rebirth going are extinguished. Those fires are greed, desire, anger and delusion. They are extinguished through Sadhana, ego-transcending spiritual practice.

Mahima Dayal Mathur, professionally known as Bawari Basanti (The 'nomadic girl', a pop culture reference in India) is a Hindustani classical and folk singer, Recording artist, photographer and songwriter from New Delhi India. Basanti is best known for her collaboration with notable artists including  Zion Train (Neil Perch), Akshay Johar (Mojojojo), Vir Singh Brar (Technoloji), Azhar Anwar (Basanti aur Rahza), and her French band Spicy Frog.
In her solo set, she explores the deeper, more intuitive side of classical and folk music.

On the west bank of the Ganges, in the ancient city of Varanasi, the fire has been burning for thousands of years.

of life and death, old sadhous, hermits or itinerants having renounced the material world to attain spiritual liberation, and living both outside and among society. The Sadhous aghori are so scared of death that they cover themselves with ashes and burn in skulls ... The site of Varanasi is a hive of activity. A city that has never slept for more than 5000 years

🎵 #FootPrintSystem 🎵

   Co-fondateurs et membres actifs des collectifs Adubtion (I.D.F) et de la F.I.S.L (Fédération Internationale des Sounds Libertaires), FootPrint System est une formation qui conjugue Dubwise 90s et musiques populaires des Balkans, du Moyen-Orient, et du pourtour méditerranéen.

Inauguré début 2009, l'objectif était, à l'origine, d'harmoniser des identités musicales singulières, et de soutenir la culture soundsystem en tant qu’outil d’éducation populaire fédérateur, vecteur de solidarités au-delà de toutes les frontières.

Depuis 2024, FootPrint System et Tewagi sound forment un tandem et préparent la sortie d'un 6ème album qui sortira au printemps 2025. Ce projet est le fruit d'une collaboration éclectique, notamment avec des artistes tels que Evren Avci, Mihai Pirvan, Nizar Ali, Manel Girard, J.Ivan Fonseca, Guru Pope, Youthie, Guillaume Perrier, Seddy Novruzbayov et Sara Fenk.

 Ensemble, FootPrint System et Tewagi portent un message fédérateur d'inspiration libertaire, antifasciste et internationaliste.
