Happy May Day! For those of you who’re chilling at home or out and about celebrating workers’ rights, we’ve got a soundtrack for the day. We’re very pleased to welcome back friend of the show and killer DJ/producer @puff_magic . The next show in our invites series is a fiery blend Club, Juke, Jungle, Breaks, Bass and more electronic goodness. 

PUFF.magic is an Australian Producer currently living on the East Coast of Canada. Love for juke/footwork, jungle, bass and all things 160, respect to all the originators. Djing since 2013, Producing since 2014. Living the family life, balancing motherhood and music since 2017. Went a little out of my usual 160 realm to bring you a mix with the 140 - 150 vibes including club, breaks, bass and more.

We’re always over the moon to work with PUFF.magic due to her incredible taste and talent which never fails to impress. KL 56: PUFF.magic

In Spring 2012 at Emissions Festival in Angel’s Camp, CA I was exposed to juke and footwork for the first time through seeing the legend TASO perform there, and after the fest I went home and immediately looked up DJ Rashad, followed all the artists I could find anywhere I could and my musical world has never been the same way since. The layered bass & percussion, intricate polyrhythms, chopped vocals, the dancers, and its ability to draw influence from all types of music & culture moves me like nothing else; so I put together this selection to show my love for the sound <3

This mix showcases some of my favorite artists currently releasing 160 bpm tunes who I feel represent the origins of the sound, as well as where the genre is headed in the future. All my love and respect to the artists, labels, promoters, blogs, mags, etc. who keep this sound alive and fresh while still remaining true to its roots

The twelfth Iberian Juke's EP 'Sol', comes from long time friend and collaborator Sideswipe on March 26th. 
  
Originally from the UK and actually based in Philadelphia, Stewart Roberts has been exploring the soulful side of 160 BPM music.  
With a high influence from his homeland, he's a vinyl enthusiast and has loads of Drum & Bass and Bass music gems. Along with his love for Black music, both influences had shaped his approach when making music, finding in Footwork and Juke a comfortable way to express himself.  
  
The EP is composed by 4 songs with a total predominance of women vocals. Sampling classics from RnB and Soul music like Deborah Cox's 'It's Over Now' or Gladys Knight's 'If I Was Your Woman', Sideswipe has made 4 cuts with an ideal style both to encourage the morning on the way to work, and to incite the most melancholic on the dance floor. 
  
As a founding member of 'Forbidden Trax' label and originator of the 'OneSixty Philly' parties, he has produced a slew of remixes and edits of artists like Nphonix & Dope DOD, Alicia Keys or Kenny Ken & DRS. 
He also released three EPs, most recently on UK label Modern Ruin, followed by the collaborative album “With a Little Help From My Friends” on Iberian Juke in April 2017.

Stemming from a wide ranging crew of producers and DJs including Swisha, Kush Jones and DJ Compton, this pair of DJs are some of the the coldest in the world. 

TODAY in the Footwork Jungle we are blessed with a brand new mix from Los Angeles' juke authority Noir and Jae Drago. Founders of the Juke Bounce Werk community, a collective of visual artists, producers and DJs, the superduo showcase the strength of their selections in volume 50 of the Footwork Jungle.
