A selection of Breaks in our next EP from a collection of Bristol's talent. 

Stefan Goodchild makes his debut with us on this deep and floaty EP! Producing from 1997 under the aliases Stablizer, Mako Shark and Stefan Goodchild, with releases under his belt on Plastic Raygun, Functional Breaks, Sound Of Habib and many more. He now finds himself focusing on his own imprint 'Triple Greek Recordings', whilst regularly dabbling in the sounds of slow Techno to 140bpm Breaks at Bristol based party 'Minatour Sound'.

On the remix we've got Bristol's emerging talent - Disaffected! They killed it on the last compilation and it's a pleasure to have them join us once more to provide a powerful remix. In this one they covered the styles of Hardcore and Rave in their futuristic style.

After a successful launch in January this year, Nu KVLTURE is back with a second part of the Various Artists Compilation Series 'VOL.2'. 40 Artists from all the cross the globe, nu- comeres and og's from the first release, stand together united in all things bass & breaks with BPM ranging from 100 to 170. Expect even more flavours, with the most wanted dubplates who ended up in mixes by established artists such as LCY, A.Fruit, Sun People, Gremlinz and many others who played them from Boiler room to Rinse Fm. WORKS Records is a Bristol based label for dance music at around 160bpm. Founded by the creators of online community Half-time // Slow/fast & club night WORKS; Goldman, DJ Jonco & DJ Lazergun, the label is similarly dedicated to pushing Footwork, Juke, Jungle, Hardcore, & everything in between. The label's goal is to exhibit the varying global sounds of these styles of music, whilst retaining the futurist vision set out by the originators of these genres.

With previous releases from Chicago Footwork legend Traxman and recently Italian modular powerhouse Sickarone, WORKS are really excited to welcome breakbeat bootleg king Polo Lilli to the label. These tracks were originally short 1:30 long wardubs as part of their 2nd online tournament in 2021, and are not only the most played tracks on their Soundcloud, but also his two most sought after dubplates.

His tracks have received support from some of the biggest names in the UK scene, such as Mixtress, Naina & the Daytimers crew to name a few, and his recent bookings supporting Fracture and Kush Jones certainly show the man is one to watch for 2022 and beyond.

The Dreamers Recordings is proud to introduce you to Harka and its first release on The Dreamers “Days Thinkin’ EP”. Harka is a UK based talented producer and dj, he is constantly exploring 160 to 170bpm music with a clear reference to the footwork, old school jungle and ravey spectrum of sounds. These 4 tracks perfectly describe its musical research and show its great capabilities in programming and producing.
“Body Talkin’ ” opens the EP with an excellent mixture of footwork drums and ravey sounds combined with heavy basses and culminating into an addictive rhythm.
“Days Thinkin’ “ gives the name to the EP is a more relaxed tune, that makes a clever use of jazz samples, combined with a drum pattern evolving along the track. This tune fits perfectly in the Dreamers catalogue with chill footwork jungle sounds. 
“45” goes straight to the dancefloor with an aggressive rhythm based on heavy kicks that will make everybody jump, the track finally evolves into an interesting halfstep section that is enriched with ragga vocals.
“Haste” makes clever use of iconic drum machine claps and other samples combined with a synth melody to build an addictive and intriguing atmosphere that evolves into a strings chord progressions in its second part.

Harka brings together a melancholy mixture combining elements between the best retro riddims with a futuristic flare. Based in the UK, this Yorkshire lad intends to pull your heart strings with evocative melodies, intense rhythms and sassy hook-lines. His signature hybrid production style incorporates influences spanning the ocean of underground bass music from the UK, to the USA and beyond.

Today we have a premiere from Toronto based bad man Groves, reminds us why he has received an overwhelming amount of support by the likes of dBridge, Fracture, Skeptical, and Fixate. His remix of our fave rave king  Samurai Breaks' "Marathon" instantly makes you wish you where sweaty on a dance floor . Coming from a deep knowledge of audio theory, Groves’ music is powerful, raw, direct, and fresh while paying homage to his influences and the culture. 
His contribution to Sub Merchants 'Surrey Street' EP, is perfectly placed in its intention of exploring the contemporary evolution of jungle music. Included on the EP is a re-release of 3 singles by TMSV, Samurai Breaks, and THUGWIDOW, accompanied by remixes from Drumterror & B:Thorough, Groves and Fiesta Soundsystem.
Painting a picture of the jungle scene in 2020, ‘Surrey Street’ aesthetically pays homage to Croydon‘s roots within the scene, and features six sublime selections from some of the most exciting new names on the map over the past couple of years. You truly won’t find primer cuts this side of the River Thames.
