We've got your first listen of Morwell's forthcoming full length debut "Souls." Todays premiere is DJ FLP's up beat remix of "There is no time," a melodic club jam full of nostalgia, dreamy chords, and beats that touch upon the heart of club music. The record reflects on the physicality and spirituality of sound, the pursuit of new ways of feeling, and the disparity between euphoric communal experiences and our retreat into pleasures experienced alone, in states of uncertainty and imminent collapse. 

Following recent collabs and remixes with Loraine James (Hyperdub) and DJ Earl (Teklife /Moveltraxx), the Croatian / British artist has been making waves with his EPs getting support across Rinse FM and NTS radio, in Boiler Rooms and Crack / RA mixes from
Kode9, Object Blue, Anz, India Jordan, Jossy

This is the first single off of Hesk's forthcoming Cleansed EP (Feb 10th)

Hesk is a Footwork DJ and producer from the Netherlands, currently based out of Toronto, playing a key role in the diffusion of Footwork and Juke in Canada since 2010.

"While working on Cleansed the primary focus was to make cold, footwork-battle ready tracks while still keeping club dance floors in mind. I pushed my boundaries as a producer, experimenting with more minimal and less-sounding tracks composed primarily of drums, sub bass, and synthesizers. Whereas in the past I've focused my productions around a Soul or RnB heavy sound that often includes samples, for this project I mainly used hardware such as the Dave Smith OB-6 and the Roland MC-307."
