It was 2011 when I’m on Malang’s grunge gig. I usually not go to this kind of gig, but this one is different. I came for “Guttersnipe”. At that time, they didn’t have any material yet. I came for them because a friend of mine tell me that Guttersnipe contains a member of Ebony Ivory (RIP), and that’s enough for me, I always be a big fan of Ebony Ivory, an urban legend post rock hero. And at that time, “Guttersnipe” blown me away with their explosive performance. I love them straight away. “I have to be the man who release their material”, came to mind.

A few months before, I met Intenna. A shy-yet full of potential shoegazing unit who hit me straight away when they played their demo song. And not to mention, Intenna also contains member of Ebony Ivory. 

In attempt of paying tribute to Ebony Ivory, I decided to make a split tape of these bands. 

So, here it is, the first release of For The Records: Guttersnipe x Intenna Split tape.

AKHIRNYA DI-RECORD adalah langkah awal sebuah upaya untuk mendokumentasikan band-band yang pernah dan tengah tumbuh di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Indonesia. Apa yang anda dengarkan sekarang adalah hasil akhir dari sebuah usaha pendokumentasian yang dimulai awal tahun 2015 setelah melewati proses brainstorming, pengumpulan demo serta proses seleksi. Kompilasi AKHIRNYA DI-RECORD adalah salah rilisan dalam format kaset Record Store Day Jakarta 2015.
