"I've recently had the pleasure of playing quite a few nice gigs and also have a few lined up so the mix was basically a product of me going through the selections of the recent / soon to come shows and playing the "other" tracks from these records. Other meaning, well, there is always that one track that comes to your mind when you see the record, the track you pack the record for, that track you always play. you know? So in this mix i played the other tracks from these records. Plus a few new ones thrown in as well that fitted the flow. Plus an edit given to me from my buddy Florist, plus one of my edits. All over the vibe i would say is between Bleep and Ambient Techno/House with a few trancy overtones, but quite driving and dancable."

At the core of this musical odyssey stands the enigmatic artist known as Xc-N. With an adventurous take on musical exploration spanning since 1986, he has been crafting experimental journeys that transcend the boundaries of conventional sound. Pandemic selecta! Welcome back to another episode of rona-radio, with your host (I don’t actually exist). This one comes courtesy of the Parisian, Rig Thrall, he delivers a hypnotic algorithm that will have you in a tense state of relaxation. 

Coming all the way from Melbournes cousin city, Montreal, Rig Thrall has been heavily invested in the sonic industry for quite a while now and through his many avenues has given back accordingly, through DJ’ing, productions, throwing parties (remember them?) and running record labels. His taste for the left-field really shines through in the mix, pulling you every which way possible with a soft but firm touch, somewhat of a romantic thriller or a soundtrack to one that hasn’t been made yet. 

So consider this an invitation to switch off from the rest of the world and have an hour to yourself to do whatever you please whilst this guides you through.

"It's a mix combining pieces of unreleased from me, sounds that I recorded outside or in my home studio (like subway, door slamming, guitar glitches etc...), but especially tracks that I'm not used to playing in a club and which touch me particularly. Very inspired by the current world situation, I tried with all these elements to relate as a kind of abstract journey in my head through different emotions."
