[Note: this is months _before_ the throat infection I mentioned under the "Winterstürme" track.]

This is not thought of as a performance... more like the end of an excercise, trying to get my voice back in shape after over a year of vocal abstinence (well, more or less... one can't really not sing, like, at all!)
This is pretty rough / bare bones, ignoring most of the instructions above the notes (plus mistakes / wrongly remembered).

Recorded "through a potato", as the saying goes.
With extra background noises! ;)
The music is some public domain YT karaoke channel's file, pretty sterile tempo & dynamics. It is rather muffled because the little plastic speakers that played it were directed _away_ from the mic, but only 1 meter away (with a big monitor in between, obstructing sound even more), while I was singing standing ~ 2.5m away from the mic. In a small apartment room with not great sounds ;) Adding some reverb with a plugin from vst4free (on top of the small room's own short reverbeations recorded by the mic, so it won't be an optimal result, of course, but it's always interesting to get an idea of "how would it sound in a bigger room").

[Now 3 months after throat infection... strength seems to be coming back, even if pretty thin near passagio ^^]

Tried the setup described below, but IMO it captured too much natural reverb of the building. I hoped to get it to sound more closely like "in the audience" vs. putting the Tascam recorder just 1...2 meters away. The problem here being - all seats are empty, so the reverberation is pretty heavy. I *guess* it should be attenuated when there'd be an audience - otherwise the listening experience wouldn't be so good. (in principle - not of this particular ad-hoc "not-a-performance", to test this recording setup ;))

- in a ~ 20 x 10 x 5.6 m³ smaller church chapel of 70 visitor seats, with mostly hard stone walls and glass windows - only the ceiling covered with wood, as it's typical to get the type of reverb one expects for pipe organ music - my 70Wrms boombox sitting on the real piano, playing piano playback with volume adjusted to ~ match typical piano performance in loudness, I was standing behind the piano, and the whole thing basically on one corner of that whole room, while the audio recorder was put in the third row of seats perhaps in the last third of the room front-to-back wise, and roughly at half its width, resting on a tripod at about the height of my ears when I'd sit in the neighboring chair.
