After the unprecedented success of his March release on Arkhive, “Searching For Heihachi”, Ashworth has been at the production coalface in preparation for what promises to be a chaotic summer schedule of new music and live performance. Scale EP features “Python” and “Boa”, two scaly-themed techno masterpieces bound for big things on dancefloors across the world.

A-side “Python” offers an epic excursion of winding, atmospheric production with layered techno arrangement that is guaranteed to garner the respect of the highest electronic music elite. Arranged and structured in one live take with a devilish, momentous build, it is an extraordinary demonstration of both Ashworth’s skill as a producer and imagination as an artist. 

On the flipside, “Boa” expands on the hypnotic themes of the Scale EP, using a mesmerizing piano section that guides the listener through a commanding series of techno passages that balance industrial percussion with layered progressive moods.

Available by digital download from August 6, 2014, the EP reconsolidates Arkhive and Ashworth’s status as “ones to watch” this European summer.

After releasing his sophomore long player 'We Walked Home Together’ through Fiakun, El_Txef_A returns with a series of remix packs, the first bringing us to the darkest side of the album. Not only is this the first remix EP part of a triptych, it’s also the start of a new label, Forbidden Colours. The Forbidden Colours label will provide a space for the Basque producer to explore and share his musical vision.

The EP starts off with Eduardo De La Calle’s take on 'Claim Of Planet Earth’, pulling us through an impressive analogue journey.While the Black Madonna displays her particular vision of Italo with some serious bassline action. Permanent Vacation's Lake People turn 'Every Day Is Blue Monday’ into a mystical acid trip. The Tel Aviv based duo Deep’a & Biri reinterpretate 'Claim Of Planet Earth’ into a deep yet gentle track. Finally Andres Aguirre gives 'The Love We Lost’ brings the reworks home with a true dancefloor club mix.

And you thought it was all over? Well it's bloody well not. We lied - there's more. There's always more... More cowbell, more noise and more drums for you to bang your head to amidst the heat of summer madness. This is the rework - the new edition and the new regime. We invited a small collective of producers and musicians from far and wide to remix the infamous work of Bawrut which has been heavily championed by an army of disc jockeys already this summer. It needs little introduction. 

Jimpster is the next up as he takes on the titan of the EP 'More Cowbell'. The Freerange records boss is in fine form as he toys with the wandering percussion of the original and completes his outing with the upmost subtly.
