FPR Episode #64 with Audrey Danza

Artist, writer and composer Seth Price delivers an excellent mix of modern classical, synth pop, experimental and pretty much every other genre under the sun for Forbidden Planet's latest radio show. To anyone familiar with Price's musical output, mostly concentrated in the mid-to-late 2000s, the dexterity and range exhibited will come as no surprise.

FPR is honored to present a mix by @anna-bolena, a DJ, promoter, label owner and seminal figure in Rome's techno history. For FPR's 66th episode Anna offers an exceptional mix of industrial and noise tinged tracks. Recorded live at Staub's anniversary in 2016, Anna's mix starts With an aggressive/ noisy introduction, before launching in to IDM, jacking techno and even some ambient.

Starting in 1995 as a DJ, Anna played a key role in ushering in the second wave of Rome's techno renaissance, ultimately founding the influential industrial/ IDM label Idroscalo Dischi in 1999.

Since 2016 Anna has been a resident of the influential Buttons Berlin, playing as her alias "Sunset Motherfucker".

FPR Episode #60 feat. DJ Loser

After our first reissue of The Mover in 2014, Forbidden Planet is back with two-part reissue of seminal material from the late 90s to early 00s by Doomcore pioneer, Fifth Era. Fifth Era consisted of a group of musicians from the UK and Czech Republic who pushed a slower, darker version of Hardcore. Their transgressive style had an irrefutable impact on the underground and we hope that this release goes a way to reintroduce Fifth Era's unique sound to a new generation. Vinyl only.
