As a bass music enthusiast of many years it only made sense that melba would pick up the headphones & Ableton at some point - a friendly face on the Newcastle club scene since 2015, and a DJ / Producer since 2022. melba is a passionate advocate for diversity of people and sounds within underground music, growing up listening to the fast pace of Makina and Clubland, setting the tone for her taste in electronic music.

melba’s debut release comes in the form of insatiable, a 160bpm slammer already receiving support from LCY, Tañ, Sweetpea, Nectax and more. The track is a nod to different styles, with a moody footwork influenced intro, progressing into a stripped back bass-booming drop. This one is destined for the club.

Das Booty and Kray are both names quickly becoming synonymous with big club bangers. When we heard Kray's forthcoming belter "Back Right Back," on Das Booty's World Wide Players 2 compilation, we knew the footwork Jungle fans  would have to get the first listen! Taking inspiration from jungle, juke, Baltimore club, and footwork, the Beijing based artist creates a high octane banger capable of holding down a club dancefloor or a big festival stage. Whether through his thrilling live performances from locations such as the Gobi Desert or the legendary Lantern club in Beijing, Kray knows how to captivate listeners and excite a crowd.
Constantly pushing his sound forward, Kray has seen releases on globally established labels such as Shoot, Unchained and Eloisa. Last year we successfully premiered his hybrid footwork jungle  "Hands up" for Mexico city's  BLDSMX last compilation.
We are happy to premiere his next release via London based Das Booty. The compilation also boasts tunes from Slinki and DJ Yumyum.
