Sintetizzatrice is the first recorded document of the collaboration between veteran DJ and producer Donato Dozzy and female vocalist Anna Caragnano. Through his solo work, and in his collaboration with Giuseppe Tilleci (Neel) as Voices from the Lake, Dozzy has achieved some of the most remarkable vistas contemporary electronic music has seen since the turn of this century. By removing himself from his areas of mastery to shift his focus on the voice, he has achieved a new peak with Sintetizzatrice. Over nine tracks, Dozzy works exclusively with the voice of Rome-based vocalist Anna Caragnano, with no other instruments. Heavy layering and effects processes are used to display an astoundingly versatile voice-centric vocabulary. Rarely can a record morph from R&B to kosmische, through traditional Italian folk music, to Fluxus styles and traditional chamber choir with no additional instrumentation. Just a singular, beautiful voice. The results are simply phenomenal. With the opening, "Introduzione," an immeasurable cosmic weight arrives and remains through the duration of the album. "Star Cloud" ascends with melancholy extended drones that evaporate concepts like time and being, rendering basic human perceptions void all the way through "Parallelo." "Parola" dances around the stereo field with dazing rhythms and melodies, while "Festa (A Mottola)" is an homage to the traditional music found in the rural region where, coincidentally, both Dozzy's mother and Caragnano were born and raised. The album's closing pieces "Love Without Sound" and "Conclusione" hit hard in a way to which no words can do justice. By fearlessly entering uncharted territories, Dozzy and Caragnano have made a collaboration which is truly experimental. Sintetizzatrice is a grand debut for Anna Caragnano and a fantastic twist for Donato Dozzy. Produced and mixed by Dozzy at Alaska Studio, Rome, in 2014. Mastered by Giuseppe Tilleci at EnissLab Studio, Rome. Transferred to tape by Pietro Micioni, Angelo Compagnoni, and Massimo Zuccaroli at Village Studio, Rome. Kanto Records' founder Oceanvs Orientalis' brand new three-track EP "Dance Of Swords" is out now! Available on digital stores! 

The EP is a culmination of intermittent composing made by Oceanvs Orientalis amid his extensive touring schedule during the past 12-month period. Mixed and recorded in various locations from Ibiza to New York to Istanbul the EP consists tracks cherry picked to form a conceptual testament to Spain based producer's ever-continuing creative streak while on the road. 

	The first track that bears the same name as the EP, is built upon a nicely curated beat led by a punchy bass line. It has the potential to stir up the dance floors with its upbeat tempo. Second track of the EP is a six-minute-long melodic stream named Truths of Relativity peppered with some twangy beats and portrays a subtle yet tempered texture. The third and last track of the Volga the Horse, features Rami Abousabe of Brooklyn-based duo Bedouin on guitars.

The cover image of the EP, deftly shot by aspiring Turkish photographer Onur Girit, is a match made in heaven with the general mood of the EP.

Oceanvs Orientalis - Truths Of Relativity

"Insane Dances" is a brand new sub-label from Partyfine, run by Yuksek and Get A Room!, which will deal in darker, more off-beat sounds of a post-disco orientation. It kicks off with an excellent and agenda setting EP from the Get A Room! duo. Say the pair on the new label, “We like a lot of different things musically speaking, and we do not want to be limited to a specific style like too many labels today, so we’re sure we’re going to be a little confusing. With Insane Dances we are asking our audience to be more open and wide with their tastes.” As such expect everything from funny French nuggets to New York noise, disco to No Wave legacies.
Parisian pair Jeff Lasson and Aurélien Haas have built a hedonistic galaxy based on carefully selected edits and irresistibly leftfield mixes. They bring their playful and left of centre style to this new release which features a tropical techno anthem and
percussive DJ tool. Excellent opener ‘Ecuador’ is a seductive and deep number with real mystery in the melody. Strange spoken word vocals add a sense of paranoia to the crisp, popping drums and it’s a perfectly spaced out afterparty tune filled with character. Then comes ‘The Reef’, which is an off-kilter track with wonky drums and percussion and spraying synths that are brilliantly loose. It’s colourful and dynamic and full of warmth, sure to really get the floor locked in and along for the playful ride. This is a terrific and charismatic start to the new label that will win over plenty of fans from the off.
