In the words of legendary label owner and producer, Andy Odysee of Odysee Recordings (Source Direct, Odysee, Circuit-Breaker), Past Gift, is a “beautifully crafted bit of hefty Deep Amen business”. No other words could better describe the title track from this debut release by SenseNet. 

Although she’s a new producer in the Drum ‘n Bass scene, her musical roots go back decades as a classically trained pianist who has dabbled in a variety of musical instruments and genres. With Past Gift and Purple, she wanted to pay homage to the rich history of DNB with the classic Amen Break.Her penchant for finding samples and telling stories, combined with her musical sensibility leads to two tracks that will not only give you that heavy bass punch, but will also move you emotionally with beautiful melodic breaks and undertones reminiscent of the intelligent days of Jungle. 

After playing music nearly all her life, this album not only marks a lifetime of that passion, but marks the beginning of a new stage in her musical career now as a producer. This is one release that you definitely want to get in on from day one because we here at Force Recordings can tell you that she is going to be taking us on quite the journey as we eagerly await what project SenseNet has in store for us next!
