Following the huge success of his debut album ‘Caligo’, Spor has hooked up with powerhouse producer Memtrix to present ‘Memtrix & Spor: Darkest Hours’ forthcoming on Sotto Voce/Lifted Music. The track will be released on 14th September.

‘Darkest Hours’ begins with a stream of deep cinematic melodies progressing into a melting pot of cutting-edge bass sonics and crisp drum grooves; accompanied by ambient vocals. The B-side entitled ‘Super Trace’ unfolds as a dark roller combined with sharp percussion sounds, certain to get a dance floor moving.

With over 1 million views on his track ‘All You Are’ on YouTube and over 5 releases under his belt at the age of 19, this is the start of a long journey in the world of drum & bass for Memtrix. "Working with Spor has definitely been an eye opening and insightful experience,” he says, “but I think more than that it's just been really fun. It always seems really natural and fluent in the studio and we bounce ideas off each other really well I think. Obviously it's an absolute privilege for me to work with such a household name who's work I respect so much, and this release is something I'm really proud of and excited about."

Bad Taste Recordings hits 2016 in severe kinetic style with a fresh pair of tracks launching the identity of MALUX, the new Neurofunk-focussed moniker of established bass producer SKOPE (Inspected, Technique Recordings).

The pilot quickly glanced either side of the cockpit, peering out through the oil-stained reinforced glass that separated him from the thick clouds of the permasmog that he and his fellow skykillers were now gliding through. Death screamed with wild abandon at his hind, as he slammed a nitropellet into the furnace and smashed the rapid start of his engine. The propeller whirled immediately into action, rocket thrusters firing and pushing him deep into his seat as the steam snaked through his nose ventricle and he became intertwined with his infernal engine, enveloping him in its toxic carnage. His hand moved to the bomb-bay switch, doors opening and a stack of murder rolling outside with the reaper swift behind, ready to collect the souls of the sunworshippers below, the infidel for whom the power of the perpetual engine is forever beyond.
