Parisian producer @Kool-Vibe returns to his vinyl only imprint to deliver four NYC inspired house cuts.
An enthusiast of house since the ‘90s, Kool Vibe acquired a taste for the genre at the renowned Boy’s club courtesy of legends such as DJ Deep and Laurent Garnier. He started producing himself a decade ago, with his debut releases landing on My Love Is Underground and Traxx Underground in 2011 and 2012 respectively. A year later saw the launch of his KV Records, a platform primarily for his own material whilst also hosting the likes of Alex Agore, Inner Sense, Sunny Galaxy and Washerman.

For the last five years Waze & Odyssey have been steadily releasing house jams that work wonders both in the club and through your headphones. The UK duo are as reliable as they come, if you want your house music bumping with a shuffling groove then they're your guys.

Next up they head to Eats Everything's Edible imprint and they follow a string of stellar EPs from Lauren Lane and Melé. The 'Down With Tha' EP has already built up a lot of steam on the circuit and the B-side 'Seizure' get its first play here.

The track's playful bounce is set against attitude-fuelled percussion and we're sure it's going to go down on the floors. Whatever formula Waze & Odyssey have been following since they burst onto the scene, it's working, this one bangs.

MUSHROOM HOUSE is the Toy Tonics‘s series for indie-afro-weirdo dancemusic. On this compilation you find the 11 best tracks: Guest producers Kiwi, Harry Wolfman, Hugo Capablanca, Art Alfie from Studio Barnhus and Vito & Druzzi from New York‘s Throne of Blood made these unusual tracks for the Toy Tonics series. Red Axes, DJ Sprinkles, Joe Claussell contributed remixes. There is also Italian fashion designer Marcelo Burlon featured on one track (the wonderful Mammaraccho by The Barking Dogs).
