The members of Icelandic pop/rock band Foreign Land have been playing music together for almost ten years. The band’s original focus was on modern blues, but when they started writing their own songs a strong pop/rock flavor emerged.
 
Foreign Land’s musicians have diverse backgrounds but share the same passion for their music. Since joining forces, the band has been prominent in the Icelandic music scene and has performed several times at the annual Reykjavik Blues Festival. In 2012, when the band was called Marel Blues Project, it released the CD “Live in Garðabær”.
