Also, this song was made AS A JOKE and I never expected people to like it.  SO if you like it, thank you SO much.  And if you don't like, please go cry me a river and then float into the oblivion.

This track started at 118 BPM and I quickly realized it wasn't going to work.  I always knew that the stab synth I use a lot in my songs does work at low or high tempos, but never really had a reason to write stuff there.  I dropped this track down to 85 from 118 and it quickly sat perfectly.  I went with it, and this was born.

Before anybody says anything, the acapella isn't Adele, it's actually Angelika Vee's cover.  You need to go check out here stuff because she has some killer tunes out.

Adele - Hello (Forekast Remix)

This is a ~30 minute mix of ONLY my own tracks (bootlegs and remixes included).  15 total tracks (16 if you count the mashup) with 12 of them being completely unreleased.

This kind of thing actually takes me a while to put together, not just because it's a mix, but because it's only my songs.

** There's no track list included because almost ALL of the tracks are UNRELEASED and they're all my tracks **

I actually have no clue when any of these songs will ever come out, or if they'll ever come out.  I have a tendency to let projects die over time.  There's a few songs I didn't include in this mix because they weren't ready and I didn't have enough time.

I've set out a goal for myself which is to produce at least 8 completely new and original sounding (for myself) tracks by September 1st, 2016.  That may not sound like a lot of tracks, but with everything I have going on, I want to make sure that I only approach music to create my very best work from this point forward.

Seriously, if you like this mix and you like my music, you need to reach out to me on one of my social networks and let me know.  I feed off of that kind of feedback and it really helps me out and means a lot to me.  I try to interact with everybody who comments, tweets, or writes to me.

If you've read this far, thanks so much and you're a boss.  Here's some notable stuff about this mix:

- Only 3 of the tracks in this set have been released (one of them was just the other day)
- Half of the tracks in this mix were initially written in 2014, over 2 years ago at this point.  I keep coming back and updating them, changing things, etc.
- I played the guitar on some of these tracks and sampled that for the main melody.
- This set is at 122 BPM until the very end.  A lot of these tracks are originally slower than 122.  I kept it fast(er) to keep the pace up.
- The Hall & Oates remix was a remake of an older remix I did in 2012, the original remix was a main stage track.  This one is a deep house track.
- The track with "FDB" vocals over it has been in the works for over 2 years now, and the rap vocals I used (FDB) ended up working by coincidence so I kept them.
- The opening track is an edit of my "Arguru" remix from deadmau5.  I've never played it live but I have a friend who's played it at Ruby Skye in SF CA a few times and he said it slays every single time.
- The track with the "In My Mind" vocals will end up having vocals recorded by my neighbor Amy this summer, super excited to work with her.
- The last track in this mix was my first attempt at anything around 108 BPM and tropical house.

I wrote this one back in April one evening, just experimenting with something totally different from what I'm used to.  Never produced at 108 BPM, and never really went with the whole "tropical" vibe before, but I had A LOT of fun with this one.

Let me know what you think about it!  I tried a bunch of weird / new things in this track, so hopefully you guys like it.  I need to start releasing music more often, seriously.

I hope you dig this bootleg.  I originally remixed this in 2010 only a few months after picking up the art of producing electronic music.  It went through a ton of phases before I let the project die.  In Summer of 2016 I decided to dig the project file back up and revamp it to bring it fully up-to-date for the year 2016 (and beyond).  I decided not to release at first because a lot of people said the original was played out and that I couldn't do much to it.  I strongly disagree which is why I went ahead with it.

The acapella that you're hearing is just a poor rip of the original song, which is why there's interesting bleed through all over the place however I think it just added to the overall vibe of the remix.

If you're a YouTube channel owner, you don't have to ask me for my permission to use this bootleg. You could try asking Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler, but I doubt they really even care about this point seeing as it's been nearly 32 years since the original came out. Anyway, you can use this track anywhere you want. Just make sure to give me credit (and give Dire Straits credit too, if they have any social networks).

The Essence Of Who I Am Now

Here's another remix I did a LONG time ago, like September 2011, when I was working on the production for my forthcoming "Background Stories" album which comes out on May 13th.  This song is along the exact same lines as everything from the forthcoming album.  From the recorded sounds, to the reverb soaked melodies and atmospheres, it's all there.

This song has always been a favorite of mine, and so when I decided to remix it, I wanted to create something special as opposed to just another dance floor song.  I spent a lot of time perfecting this and trying to create a specific mood within this song and the remix.  I feel like I pulled it off fairly well.
