I traveled in a time-refraction—twenty seconds stretched to centuries,  
Took a peyote blade from a laughing god with questionable tendencies.  
Ended up in a hallucination where lightning played dominoes,  
And I sparred with my own shadow speaking backwards in Navajo.  
I learned the law of the sickle-tongue: speak in loops and triple flips,  
Now I swing a scythe in my mouth and harvest whole manuscripts.
