"When I picked records and songs for this mix I wanted to include a lot of tracks that are timeless and not trendy. Important tracks are in my arsenal of music. I don’t own CDJs so I did the mix on my 1200s. These songs kind of reflect the epitome of the sound in an underground party, from any era. I ended the mix with an old Get F*cked track, because I love that record, and it's perfect for closing out a party or a mix. Nathan Coles and I have been homies for over 20 years. I recorded the mix a few weeks before passed and it makes the mix mean something more to me than just doing a cool DJ mix. Live recording from my evening set at The Garden stage at Pachena Bay Music Festival 2024. 
Keeping it chill and deep, starting with Ambient, progressing through Dubtechno into some chill Dubstep and about halfway through the set i switch into Autonomic / Halftime / Atmospheric Drum'n'bass with deep emotive sounds from my favourite producers over the last few years.
Mostly just having fun, jamming, nothing scripted, some mixes are less desired than others, floating between moods and genres a bit. Included some of my friends tracks in there as well and some local labels too.
Many thanks to Michael Red and Eddy for creating a wonderful stage and taking care of us all weekend.

Jay has been DJing professionally for three decades and has played some of the most iconic underground clubs in more than 200 cities worldwide. Most notably he had an 18 year run playing at Londons Fabric, and is currently celebrating a decade at Flash DC and a 22 year residency at Gorgomish in his home city of Vancouver, Canada. Jay has contributed to every major podcast in the scene, and has well over 300 interviews, reviews and articles in the world of music. As a working DJ, Tripwire can range from the freshest of the fresh to the most obscure vintage bomb, and his extended sets are renowned for reflecting his vast knowledge and ability.
