Episode 127 from DJ Smoker

This week we have a local hero of sorts, DJ Smoker. As one of the many heads fueling Glasgow's iconic Missing Persons Club collective, as well as Bigfoot's Tea Party, DJ Smoker plays a huge part in providing Scotland with some of the best parties around. It's no secret that these parties contribute to bringing a lot of the cutting edge names to  Glasgow and and Edinburgh, and amongst this you can often hear Smoker supplying his wealth of track knowledge in the depths of the La Cheetah Basement and beyond. It is our pleasure to finally have him on the series, providing a fast techno workout, as well as a masterclass in mixing, enjoy!

Taken from a 15min jam recorded into Ableton Live and chopped down to about 6 1/2 minutes. Added an echo effect from Live a couple of times at the end for fun but otherwise it's just a stereo recording from the mixer unmastered, which it could do with!

A 20 minute jam with stereo out from the mixer recorded into Ableton and then chopped up and reduced to this shorter version.
