"Circles" DEMO - Forever the Fierce

Hey guys, I just wanted to kinda explain everything that has been happening with us, and a short history lesson on Forever the Fierce. We have been a band since January of 2012, we have made lots of adjustments to the way we sound together, we all come from somewhat different backgrounds musically. When we first started the band, we were a 3-piece indie/acoustic band. Shortly after that, we added a member, and wrote somewhat faster/heavier music. Nothing crazy, just an adjustment. We realized that the way we were playing, didn't exactly mesh well. So we added another member and naturally, we wrote faster/heavier music. A bit more drastic than the first time. We put blood, sweat, and tears into writing an album worthy to be released for you guys. We decided we needed to record it for you all to hear. After a lot of personal problems occurred within the band, our drummer unfortunately could not continue to play with us, more on that later. After more adjusting, we came in contact with the president of DJQ Artist Management, who gave us a ton of amazing advice (thank you Terry!) He then referred us to a producer in the Austin, TX area, Curtis Douglas. We talked for a while, and decided we would start recording at the start of 2013. Sure enough, January 1st, we made our journey from Houston to Austin. We had heart to hearts, and realized that aside from the 15 hour work days, it was an amazing bonding experience. We were all so stoked at the way the songs were transforming. It was like nothing we had ever even dreamed about. We went from a garage project, to well… a band. It was a very necessary transformation, and a long-awaited one! We all have a super strong love for music, which is what kept us going through the tough moments. We set deadlines for everything, and we worked hard to accomplish it all. There were a lot of sacrifices made along the way, but we all stuck together and made sure to jot our emotions on paper, and our first record was born. We went through some relationship problems, which is strongly reflected by this record. We mainly wanted to make people realize that there is a light at the end of the tunnel though, things aren't always gonna go your way, and you're gonna get knocked down. You just have to pick yourself up and move on with your beautiful life. We still have tons of work to do before we release our EP though! Currently we are getting artwork for the album, and trying to find a good day to release it. We are going to make sure everything is perfect for you.
