CHRYSTAL - THE DAYS [NOTION REMIX]

The Magician is a collaborative prose and ambient piece composed by A. Calin Ion and authored by Sonia Chien. The two sent samples of compositions and writings back and forth over text message, culminating into the final work.  Calin's composition recontextualizes anonymous field recordings of public spaces, abstracting their familiar textures into uncanny, intimate soundscapes. Sonia's prose explores a month of experiences with a stream-of-consciousness approach, skipping between small moments of purpose, aimlessness and all that lies between.
