Forget Conformity has generated quite a local fan base in the DFW metal scene in the past year, and now has released there first EP self titled Forget Conformity Live At The Curtain Club. Since there start in late 2014 they have been taking the local scene one show at a time.

The band started in late summer of 2014. When lead guitarist, Brad Clifton and drummer Jonathon Baker were offered to play at the Curtain Club in September of that year.Brad and Jonathon then brought in Brad Ham as their front-man. Needless to say they had to start working fast on music so the next few months were spent in Brad Clifton's home studio writing and recording.

After a few weeks of being in the studio, Forget Conformity had found it's sound! Combing lead guitarist Brad's melodic southern and metal-core style riff's. Mixed in with drummer Jonathon's driving foot work and crazy hand work. Over laced with bassist Jon Garrett's trembling bass notes, and front man Brad Ham's deep and powerful growls and scream's to complete the sound.

Within Forget Conformity's first year of playing in the local scene, they have been able to share the stage with national acts, such as Mobile Death Camp, Micaweber, Aurorean, Invoker and Of Ruins.

Moving forward now that Forget Conformity's EP has dropped, they are setting there sites to tour in the late summer months with Splatta Fish and meeting up with Aurorean and Of Ruins in San Antonio on long the way. Drummer Jonathon say's "At his point we want to extend our name and fan base as much as possible, and that means touring around Texas." Forget Conformity is in it for the long haul whether they make it big on a national level or on a local level. These guys our serious about there craft and the passion for southern metal-core.
