Steven North has always had a passion for music, ever since he can remember, he would be playing music, whether it was borrowing his father's vinyl collection, tape recording radio shows to make his own mix tape, there's always been a passion.

During his youth, he had the dream, the vision to be a DJ and he went on to do weddings, functions & parties in his late teens. This was put to a holt when he was offered a job at a restaurant and worked full time. Little did he know, his love for music and sound would end up becoming reignited with a firey passion.

A number of years had passed with no touch on music, no thoughts on writing music and after a life changing experience, his passion for music reignited with a fire. Just like the Phoenix rising, so did his love for the music.

The childhood dream to become a DJ and play in the big clubs began again. His first residency gig was in a local pub in Fremantle and this saw his career evolve, his style get created and the path to what you're listening today was born. He began focusing on what would could see to be how music blends together and began to see the frequencies in the music, his thirst for creating. Later on in 2011, he became a music journalist for The Empire of Perth Magazine which wrote about all the night industry in Perth, Western Australia and Steven was required to provide podcasts every week, slamming down a radio segment which later on evolved into an international radio segment, being played on the airwaves in Bulgaria, London, Mexico (just to name a few counties). He approached an artist representative company in Ibiza, Spain with the dream to play to the big crows and their advice was that these days, a DJ needs to also be a producer, they need to have a name in order to play there and that birthed Steve's music production career.

Teaching himself how to put music together, which came very easy being a DJ, he also took on some piano lessons in order to learn how to play the piano and get a better understanding of music scales. Again, with no idea what was going to happen in the future. After writing different pieces of classical music, random pieces of house music, he was approached by the owner of Luxurious Magazine to write music for them. Steve fell off of his chair (true story) and the amazing friendship with Luxurious Magazine was born with various tracks being utilised in their videos. Steven is still involved with Luxurious Magazine today and has been published when interviewing one of the Ibiza DJ's hot on the scene.

Steven was also a representative of an Italian, House Music record label and being an A&R for artists in the electronic music scene and became friends with many international acts around.

Steven has played in a number of clubs in Perth, Western Australia including the famous Geisha Bar and Eve Nightclub at the Crown Casino and loves creating happy & loving moments with music.

Over the next series of months, through guidance from pyshics and spirit guides, Steve was told that he would be writing music that would embed the energies of crystals and that began a year of brain storming. How does one do this?

Today, Steven North has seen a number of releases on the Ibiza record label, Senssual Records under the name of 'Forgone' and is the founder of the Heart Activation Music & Heart Activation Music Therapy which is a music therapy modality that utilises the frequencies & harmonics of crystals.
