for my collection of Prose Poems: "Looking for My Killer, a collection that may be published in 2018, not before, by Jamii  I am 63 years old now, and when I was eight living Linn Drive in Cleveland, Ohio, I saw a teenage girl, Olivia, jump to her death from an iron-wrought apartment, rather than be raped.  I was there, innocent watcher,   and there was nothing I could do except be an unwilling witness, but this is poetry's job to see what happens and report, no matter how long it takes.  Violation  of women hasn't stopped.  Here's to all the Olivias out there!

A trip to the Quality 16 Cinema changed me forever, for while watch ing some film, I was transfixed by the credits, the movement of words, and then I knew what needed to be done to extend accessibility of work, of poetry.  Make it visual, and sonic, not just words on a conventional paper page. For a "page" is only that which houses a poem, and that can be anything, everything.  And a poem can be as homeless as anything else.  I used to project poetry on rooftop to make this point.  It is not permanence that is important, but expression itself. Bring it to life with a variety of sound, find ways to stimulate all the senses, seek immersion, allow poetry to be part of you, as much as you are part of it. that sort of thing. Interaction is key.

Mostly, I am a "Limited Forker" and love to interact wit existences.  I am 63 years young, a retied professor in english and Art & Designate the University of Michigan.
