Format
One of Cardiff Drum & Bass's most regular names and for good reason. Format began mixing at the age of 16, first learning to mix on records. Not long after this he made his debut for Aperture in Clwb Ifor Bach, supporting Goldie for the 2013 Outlook launch party. Since then Dan has become a resident for the likes of Temple, Vaults, Bullion, Aperture & Rise in Swansea, supporting the likes of Calyx & Teebee, Dub Phizix, Kove, High Contrast, Rene Lavice, Emperor plus a huge amount of other names along the way, as well once even being voluntarily hosted by Stamina MC for one of his sets supporting Optical and BTK.
Getting into the Drum & Bass sound through Ram Records, a Format set nowadays often consists of a broad selection of Drum & Bass, although personally favouring the darker techy sounds. He is also a clever producer and has taught production since the age of 18, supporting GCSE & A Level classes along the way.
