After a highly successful release on our sister label, Future Formation, Dunk releases his first EP on Formation Records. Comprised of 5 blistering tracks, ‘Signal Loss’ is an essential part of every DJs summer mix. 

Kicking off the EP with the title track ‘Signal Loss’, this is a deep dark and dirty stomper. With an ominous introduction comprised mainly of a lonely high hat, we are quickly reaching the first drop to be hit in the face with a blasting rolling bass. The minimal drum pattern enables the bass to stand out to its fullest. 

The second track, ‘Bubblegum’, sees Dunks trademark slow and steady introduction once again. With a powerful drums section throughout, and a warping well produced bass there is a serious presence within ‘Bubblegum’. 

‘Bad thug’ is a track with real attitude. With the drop on this track comprised of a masterful drum beat that will be ringing in listers ears. Not to forget the bass that adds the depth to the track, and of course the amen breaks dotted throughout. 

The penultimate track, ‘Electric lady’, has a much more hectic introduction as listeners are exposed to an array of abnormal sounds, before an erupting drum pattern kicks off the track. These strange and electrical sounds continue throughout the track, the use of a mysterious female vocal alongside the bass is almost spooky. 

As we come to the final track of the EP ‘Syndrome’ Dunk continues his production mastery, with another salacious drum beat with an naughty bass warping throughout.
