Malte Magnum got into music in his teens in Dresden, digging Dubstep and Hip Hop tunes from early on. Since his time in Halle he's resident of the ORGIA crew, known for their raves or as part of the Tarmac Festival. By now he's based in Leipzig, and despite his East German vita, his current sound makes you wonder which part of the 🇬🇧 he actually is from — which means Garage, Dubstep, Jungle, Grime, House & Breaks. This time everything deep and heavy from 130-140 bpm.

With support from BBC Radio 6, Kool FM and Rinse/SWU, the tracks have already been doing bits.

Blissful queer UKG, thumping UK funky, euphoric, skin-tingling techno, sassy 150 stompers, sexy analogue ghetto bangers, slamming 160 - we've got it all, and more besides. This V.A takes you on a proper tour through every mood, speed and vibe that underground dance music has to offer. It's an absolute toolbox for any DJ that considers themselves multi-genre, and even for the non-DJ's it's got a track for every occasion. It's a testament to the eclectic nature of dance music, and also of people.

All proceeds from this V.A will go to the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network, a non-profit, anti-state and grassroots organisation that supports trans refugees in every aspect of life after arriving in the USA. The money will specifically go to helping Noah, a trans person who is a refugee from Palestine.

By definition, "atonal" refers to composing music by obscuring tonal structures or by ignoring conventional harmonies altogether.

It is also the moniker that Loris Scaglia adopted to express himself creatively, rewritten with a diacritic across the second vowel to accentuate the idea of no restraint when it comes to sonic exploration. For the better part of fifteen years, ATØNAL has been a music enthusiast, experimenting with sound through different disciplines in the likes of music production, DJing and event curatorship.

Influenced by 90s and 2000s club music, ATØNAL has crafted his own signature style through a formidable eclecticism in the realm of Electronic Dance genres. Shifting between Bass, Breaks, Garage and Techno-infused sounds, he blurs genre barriers through sets as sharp as they are unexpected.

Although native to Lausanne, ATØNAL has explored the better parts of Romandy through residencies through nightclubs such as le Zoo. Now back in his home town, he holds a residency at Le Bourg as a co-founder of the platform Breakfast Club where he showcases the Swiss electronic scene through various projects he oversees. ATØNAL is one to proudly incorporate while simultaneously generously giving back to his community.

How does one stay authentic to their roots yet consistently evolve? Perhaps by intertwining the lines between the personal self and artistic persona. This avoidance of tradition to welcome innovation is something evident in his work. COUNTERBALANCE is a work ethic ATØNAL adopted to level his visual and sonic creative endeavours. A glimpse into his activities, whether by working in advertising during the day or the usage of cap locks in his titles, reflects an urge to be present and expresses that branding is very dear to him. An ongoing thought process in the separation and attachment to one’s self with a pseudonym to do just that: be loud.

Vief’s next fundraiser compilation, as voted for by the 14 contributors to the release, is raising money for Palestine Solidarity Campaign to aid their work in building public support for an end to atrocities currently taking place in Gaza.

Following the Hamas-led attack on Israel on 7th October 2023, the disproportionate response by the Israeli armed forces and government has led to (at the time of writing):

• At least 31,923 people killed, of which more than 13,000 are children (Al Jazeera)
• The destruction or damage of more than half of Gaza’s homes (360,000 residential units) (Al Jazeera).
• ‘Catastrophic’ levels of hunger for more than 1 million people and an ‘imminent’ famine in northern Gaza (the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification).

On 26th January 2024, the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to take “immediate and effective measures” to protect Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip from the risk of genocide by ensuring sufficient humanitarian assistance and enabling basic services. Amnesty International and Oxfam have accused Israel of defying this ruling.

“Israeli authorities are not only failing to facilitate the international aid effort but are actively hindering it. We believe that Israel is failing to take all measures within its power to prevent genocide.”

Sonic data are rich tapestries of multi-dimensional spectral information.

Three small bronze structures operate in orchestral fashion to transduce sound to subsequent stages of analysis. Neuro-Sonic Transduction recounts this phenomenon -- the mechanical reception of sound.

Sonic waves are propagated by hydraulic means (see Figure 1 - Pressure Changer).

For a detailed theoretical model of how all three structures (Stirrup, Malleus, and Anvil) operate together, see Figure 2 - Transducer Mechanics. In Figure 3 - Copper Periodicities, analyses reveal the material properties existing within cyclic data.

Lastly, the dynamic filters shaping incoming signal are reportedly composed of crystal (see Figure 4 - Crystal Wavelets), a finding with added support from DJ Satyrias.
