heyooo, its been like 8 months? something like that djkhfgbskg I've been working on things, mostly just improving things i suck at and working. it can get quite difficult focusing on music when my work hours are random and i dont really have weekends ANYWAY... kusanagi is a track i made in like a day or two on the back of a ghost in the shell binge (hence the name, major kusanagi being the main protagonist), and bits of the original gits soundtrack are sampled and granulised through out, mostly the track "floating museum" which is from the spider tank scene which is incredible, given the fact that the movie has strong themes about AI, hacking and physical augmentation and transhumanism, that scene where the spider tank shoots all the way up the evolutionary tree was pretty neat considering its symbolism in relation to the wider themes of the movie.

if you know me you probably know that jon is easily my fav musician on the planet. this song is incredibly important to me in ways i truly don't think i can put into words.

i've always wanted a version that i can play out in sets without sacrificing the tempo (i usually play around 140-150bpm), thus this was born.
