Our third installment in the LOT_MIX series comes from our Manchester based resident @twelveseven. Having played at all our UK shows...and a special guest at our party with Blanka, we can expect nothing less than full throttle vibes for this set.

From the off we are provided with fast, morphing grooves with bleepy polyrythms dotted throughout the hour, mixing it up with some broken depth during the middle leading into some dreamy tones to close.

The FWL Series, a new project featuring a selection of live mixes from artists and parties across the UK, and beyond. 

FWL 001 | Will Catlin, Birdsong @ Meraki

To kickstart the series, we have an hour from Will Catlin. This live mix was recorded at the launch of his techno outfit, Birdsong at Meraki in Liverpool (08/01/2022). The mix portrays all aspects of his style, encompassing both old and new groove with harder, euphoric tracks. 

Will featured on our FWP Series just over a year ago and we are so happy to invite him onto the FWL and witness his rise across the North West. The next Birdsong event is set to be an unmissable 10 hour display of techno, day through to night, featuring three well renowned headliners and a specially selected group of rising local talents.

The inauguration of ‘Alarico’ occurred in 2019 after previously exploring several sub-genres of Techno. The alias was formed as a statement to showcase a style that was personal to him. Personal in a way that he became captivated within the patterns and structures of his own sound, strongly shaped by the raw and forward-leaning sound of 90’s Techno.
Alarico continues to position himself as a unique music lover, continuing to explore the depths and possibilities of sound. He stands for continuously pushing boundaries and stirring this attitude with his background of Hip Hop and Japanese culture.

Yax is a DJ from Adelaide, Australia with a passion for underground techno, drawing influence from the likes of DVS1, Jeff Mills, and Setaoc Mass. His style is often deep, hypnotic, and hard hitting as he takes inspiration from the 90s and early 00s era of techno. Yax also curates his own weekly podcast series called Yax Invites via his SoundCloud page with the aim of creating a library of quality mixes and showcasing talent from around the world. His mix for Communion Circuit was recorded with three decks and is full of loopy, hypnotic and trippy techno

My next guest on Yax Invites is Brandyy, a techno DJ based in Hannover, Germany. 

Together with friends he owns the @kollektivsynergie label and has been DJing for two years now. The label runs a weekly podcast series and has released several EP‘s and a VA. Brandyy has focused on fast paced old school/hard groove style of techno. His passion for the music was found in the Hannover club scene especially at Klub Pan.
