Mercedes dun goofed and people had their say about it.
Also Max looked good for a bit, then he dun goofed too, setting off a chain reaction that would change the face of the Monaco GP and ensure it was talked about for a very long time.
Sadly, not because it was a great race, but once again it all comes down to action on pit lane.

Next up is Canada, we all like that one, so positivity will return to the sport then, with any luck!

Formula Pubscast - Monaco 2015; Max Attack

Isn't Formula 1 a lot more entertaining when everyone drives badly?

After a bit of an enforced break, the Pubcast roars back into form with a pub full of excited Formula 1 fans who have one of the races of the season to remark upon and react to.
The banter levels are set to their highest setting with such gems as Nico Bottas and Kimi Massa being commented upon as well as the other frantic developments during a frenetic Hungarian Grand Prix

Though since this is the first Pubcast since the sad news was announced of the Death of Jules Bianchi a sombre atmosphere is hanging over the pub at the beginning, sadly the race was just too crazy for us to remember to sign off with the Bianchi tribute we intended to.
All our thoughts are with the Bianchi family and friends of Jules during this difficult time.

Formula Pubscast; Hungary 2015; Thrill - Ring

So, remember this?

A few years ago, the F1 fans of Birmingham used to gather in a pub in the city centre and enjoy the atmosphere of F1 racing as a community. 
Then this guy used to run around and document their reactions to each Grand Prix in its immediate aftermath, whether they liked it or not

Well, we thought it was too good an idea to lay dormant, so lets do it again, shall we?

In this (re)Intro-cast, Paul Hadsley and Andrew Miller update themselves on the F1 landscape since the Pubcast was last on air, as well as looking forward to the hi-jinks ahead.
They also take a "sideways look" at the F1 season so far (though, as this is an audio podcast, it doesn't matter in which direction they are looking) 
It's not going to win any awards for in-depth analysis of the racing, but it may well make you smile
Well, no-one can deny it is an attempt at something, anyway.

For the first episode proper in our new series, we arrived at the giant screen at the back of Birmingham's Hennessey's pub for the Monaco Grand Prix

We thought we'd try out a new format, namely a "react to events in the race as they happened" style like all those cool kids on youtube are doing.
And gogglebox. 
You be the judge as to its success. 

In what ended up being a test of endurance, we kept thinking of ways to throw the chequred flag early and go home.
