As is tradition, the Darksiders have once again bestowed a spooky Halloween playlist for the music community. For this year's theme everyone got to pick a ghost story of their choosing. 
    Since I am originally from New Orleans, I chose the famous local legend of Delphine LaLaurie. She was a wealthy aristocrat during the early 1800s. During an investigation into a fire at her residence, it was discovered that she was gruesomely killing and torturing her slaves. If you look into the story in depth the nature of her crimes were twisted as fuck. To this day the LaLaurie Mansion still stands at the corner of Royal and Gov. Nicholls in the French Quarter.
   As a side note, a fun fact of the LaLaurie mansion is that it was briefly owned by the actor Nicolas Cage. It has since changed owners several times due to the haunted nature of the property.
