With autumn around the corner we're pleased to present the ninth chapter of the Navigare Audio Podcast. This time it's Hydrous from Norway, who will also release an amazing EP very soon on our label, that are the composer. This set also include some of the music from the upcoming EP of him. 

"I had a lot of fun making this episode for Navigare Audio's great podcast series.
I created this mix very much inspired by a couple of DJ sets I was finally able to play this summer for some great dancefloors. I focused on a journey with movement, starting in the slower realms steadily moving upwards in intensity before bringing it down again at the end, with a focus on a sound rooted in the deep and psychedelic. Included are a few unreleased tracks of my own, including tracks from an upcoming release with Navigare, which I am very much looking forward to!"

Gościem dziesiątego odcinka cyklu BTS Podcast jest pochodzący z Niemiec – Markus Masuht. Właściciel wytwórni Pragmat oraz netlabelu Insectorama. Artysta ten swoją podróż z muzyką elektroniczną rozpoczął w 1993 roku. 

EN: From the deep and raw side of techno comes the artist Markus Masuhr. He lives in Leipzig/Germany and is
the labelboss of "Pragmat" and the netlabel "Insectorama". Markus started with electronic music in 1993 with
friends at a youth club and illegal parties in Leipzig, he went on spinning techno records.
When turning to produce electronic music himself in 2003, he chose to express his versatile style preferences in
his own works as well - making tracks and live acts ranging from deep techno with dub elements to raw techno. In
the last years he has published on countless labels [Pragmat/Insectorama/Superbrecordings/Circular/Rohs]
He himself describes his sound as techno, that you feel approaching from the rear of the hard but deep with chords
echos and delays in a 4/4 pattern dubtechno construct. In the end of the Year 2013 starts a new side project with

When it comes down to combining the best of many musical worlds, Peter Van Hoesen can say he's been doing it for a while now. Deeply rooted in the Brussels electronic music scene as DJ and producer since 1993, he's considered by many as a man with multiple musical talents: from straight-up dancefloor jackin' techno to advanced abstract electronica. His music has been released on his own labels Time To Express and Foton as well as through Exone, Komisch, Lan Muzic, Curle, Meakusma and Morse. He's active as a DJ, producer, sound designer and composer for contemporary dance and theatre. Peter currently lives in Berlin.

His first steps were in 2011 when he started experimenting with sound and studying Electronic Arts.

After some time developing his style and technics, in 2014 he debuts as producer releasing music in the well known label Planet Rhythm, delivering his first EP: Vexations, getting the support of artists like Henning Baer, Tensal, Marcel Dettmann, Bas Mooy, Ettap Kyle, and more.

He continues releasing music for labels like Weekend Circuit, Insula Records, Animal Farm, and a collaboration EP with Mental Resonance for Pfirter's label MindTrip Music.

Influenced by differents styles of the techno genre, his productions and sessions are charged of differents emotions, going throw deep and mental places, to others more focused on the floor.

Years and years of music exploration have led Alfonso Pomeda aka F-on to the job at the record shop, to owning a record label Alpenglühen and to the unique djing style with progressive sessions, profound and long mixes, real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient, horizontal and dubby techno.

With every step forwards it’s a step more into the unknown. Cautiously pushing of an ocean bed a thought catches you off guard – this certainly is the last time in a long while before the familiar grains of sand will greet your tired feet anew. Though, consciousness now has its battle – the darkness beneath the body, the black waves catching up to you. Life long fight with self, the fight against the fear of nothingness deep under.

His Master's Voice is one of those artists that is hard to associate with a specific genre in electronic music. Instead, he is recognized as an artist whose style is continuously morphing and pushing boundaries of electronic music into uncharted territories both in the studio and behind the decks. In the past few years, we've seen a constant rise of this Hannover-based artist. From his debut release on Schleifen and remarkable contribution to KANN's Banana Split release, to mind-bending Delsin debut EP and his very first LP 'Log: a Canis Majoris' on Paul Rich's KCZMRK, His Master's Voice reminds us that the electronic music universe is infinite and that one can still make music that sounds fresh and interesting. His close friendship with VRIL, with whom he often shares countless studio hours, has brought us some fantastic collaborations in the past. Two remixes on Delsin were like an introduction to the Adderall project that His Master's Voice and VRIL started just a few weeks ago with an incredible ode to 90's IDM, the track - 'Cryosleep,' which we had the pleasure of premiering. 

The mix His Master's Voice prepared for us is an intricate journey full of twists and turns through Jungle, Leftfield, Techno, IDM, and Electronica. This is one of those mixes that you'll go back to over and over again, just to hear something new that you may miss the last time you listened to it.

Giselle Isabel Navas from a small town just outside of Oslo, Norway always had a huge passion for music.

She started pursuing her passion in 1998 when she was 18 years old, and learned to mix with turntables. 
Later the turntables got put aside and she hardly did any mixing for a few years. 
But she could never put it behind her completely, and getting started again was almost always on her mind.
A few years ago she decided to give her passion another go, and got herself a couple of decks.

She has her own unique sound with Progressive, Tribal & Dark Progressive which makes each set so special.

Strongly influenced by Dave Seaman, John Digweed, Sandra Collins, Anthony Pappa, & Sasha to name a few. 

In the time since she got back into mixing again, Giselle's sets has been featured on many Internet Radio shows all over the world like Innervisions Radio UK, Frisky Radio, Proton, DI.fm, Chris Domingo`s Sunday Dip, & MCast where she got her own monthly slot.

2014 promises to be eventful and exciting for Giselle with her show "Beneath The Surface", plus other guest spots and club bookings.
