@LauraBCR has her ear to the ground. The French DJ and On Board Music label founder is always on the lookout for new music to spin, or for artists to join her monthly Rinse France radio show. She takes her name from the much-loved and now closed, Berlin record store, Bass Cadet Records, where she spent a couple of years behind the counter. These days, Laura is best known for her transportive, deep techno and dubby ambient DJ sets, which have brought her to some of Europe’s finest venues, including a residency at Het Magazijn in The Hague. Her own productions first surfaced in 2020 and were included on both of On Board Music’s stand-out, charity compilations. More original music is in the works, as well as a continuous evolution behind the decks.

Dash is a Prague-based DJ and expert in setting deep and hypnotic mood on the dancefloor. Her music is inspired by tribal, natural and shamanic elements. Besides her unique DJ expressions, she is also developing her own sound by starting to play hybrid live sets using other components, such as kalimba. With her calm style she is guiding through groovy experimental techno, minimal and ambient.

The term Lāsya, in the context of Hindu mythology, describes the dance performed by Goddess Parvati as it expresses love, care, happiness and is filled with grace and beauty. The Lāsya was the second phase of creation, in response to Shiva's Tandava dance that gave birth to the Universe. It combined to form the triad, "laya", "pralaya" & “shunya” - the cyclic motion of things from resonance to dissolution, from stillness to movement, from sound to silence, and such represents the dialectical "being-nonbeing-becoming". In a literal sense, Lāsya means softer, it is the divine feminine nature in all of us which manifests as beauty, happiness, enchanting, and grace.

The fact that @kimkenis started DJing is perhaps only a logical consequence. Since her childhood music has always been her escape. She loves all genres. But since she discovered the clubs in 1999, her love for electronic music has only intensified. Being in the scene for over 15 years and after years of research and collecting, she has an extensive collection of music in all styles. With her predisposition to always want to share everything, it's strange she didn't think about starting spinning much sooner. Kim likes to do long, mostly horizontal sets. Here she proposes an hour voyage between dancing and spacing out. With her broad taste she will go from organic and groovy to sterile and minimalistic, one thing is for sure, it will be deep!

For the last mix of the year, we are hosting one of our favorites: Polygonia! The Munich-based musician has been one the busiest in 2020 with releases on our beloved On Board Music label but also on her very own IO, she runs with Dycide and MTRL. An excellent EP on French imprint Lowless, we particularly dig, has recently seen the light too. Her deep and atmospheric productions are always full of emotions, intense and are a perfect interpretation of modern Deep Techno. When Polygonia is not producing or behind the decks, you can also find her making V/J for bands or doing new instrumental & experimental collaborations.
