PREMIERE: Deciduous - Ecosystem (Original Mix) [Astral Records]

The Fragments series returns with its next carefully curated installment, ‘Fragments XXVIII’, introducing three rising talents to the Purified Records family—each delivering a track that has already lit up live sets across the international circuit. If I? sets the tone with ‘Sirens’, a deep and entrancing production that unfolds with hypnotic melodies and an irresistible flow. Solink follows with ‘Luminous’, blending intricate textures and a pulsating groove to create a truly rapturous listening experience. Closing the collection, Oblivium delivers ‘Aura’, a driving and uplifting piece propelled by a shimmering lead synth that ripples with energy. From expansive atmospheres to vibrant, pulse-driven moments, ‘Fragments XXVIII’ weaves a rich sonic tapestry that feels right at home on the dancefloor.

The ‘Fragments XXVIII’ artwork is a photograph of a Scalloped hammerhead shark cruising the reef wall at Darwin Island, Ecuador, taken by Brooke Pyke. Brooke is an award-winning marine life photographer from Australia, based on Ningaloo Reef in WA. With a background in diving, she now focuses on ocean, travel, and adventure photography, capturing the beauty of the underwater world since 2014.

The scalloped hammerhead's wavy head sets it apart from other hammerhead species, whose heads are flatter. This shape enhances its electroreception, allowing it to better detect prey in sand or mud, a feature shared with other hammerheads but more pronounced in this species. Shark Conservation Fund (@sharkconservationfund) is a global collaboration focused on protecting sharks and rays, investing in policy, science, and advocacy to halt their decline.

The No. 016 on Plotzlich Musik is the Gyaan EP of the great Sous Sol. They get supported with two remixes by Nikolas Noam and Hari Erhardt.

Sous Sol's music is generated by two individuals, Teo and Lukas, who are putting their entire personalities into their art.

Their releases have been published on imprints like Gorge's Re:fresh Your Mind and on Mihai Popoviciu's Cyclic Records. Additional stations include: What Happens, Bondage Music, Hive Audio and Marcus Meinhardt's Heinz Music. Sous Sol also teamed up with three colleagues to run their own label named Neustadtmusik.

Overall, Teo and Lukas are true club musicians who know their turntables like the back of their hands and as they never stop exploring the musical world they live in, the duo is successful in creating fresh new music. We are super happy to heave this great artist and lovely people with us for this release.

After Nikolas Noam did the number 014 on Plotzlich Musik, we where amazed and straight asked him todo a remix for us. He is a Germany based artist and producer from Leipzig. Noam's music is recognized as blue vibe house with a subtitle pop appeal. Noam has released on labels like Blankhaus Music, Union Jack Records and Cimelde.

Hari Erhardt is managing the label Plotzlich Musik together with Beddermann & Dahlmann since early 2016. He did a quite groovy tool remix and sends you on a subtly journey.

The artwork is done by Robin Kowalewsky. A symbiosis of audio and visual art coming soon on Plotzlich Musik.

After the recent success of his much anticipated album, Rodriguez Jr. and Mobilee bring us Baobab
Remixes. Claude VonStroke, Audiofly and Tim Green have stepped up to produce three unique
adaptations that flow explicitly and reinvent the album tracks.
Incorporating a delectable “huh” and graceful piano, Claude VonStroke has excelled with his interpretation of
An Evidence of Time. Animating the original with an emphatic bassline and unyielding timbres, whilst paying
homage to the original with the mid-way breakdown. Audiofly have reconstructed Radian with their discernible
sound. Their remix strips down the original, migrating through hypnotic synthesis, steadily building then fading
to silence. Keeping the original kick a prominent feature, Tim Green ’s rendition of the title track Baobab shines
through. A hearty techno beat forms the basis of the minimalistic roller.
Dirtybird founder Claude VonStroke has had an incredible year with his longstanding label receiving Mixmag’s
Label of the Decade award back in July. Aside from touring the globe, Audiofly recently claimed they were
“ exactly where we want to be as djs and performers ” when the duo made their debut appearance at Burning
Man this year.
