Am I Really Like This?

'Spooky Season' is upon us and this Friday the 13th sees the release of a thrashing rock 'n' roll anthem inspired by 60s garage rock. 'It's a Cult' was recorded in Liverpool with a full band set up, using traditional recording techniques. Featuring catchy, melodic hooks and a killer harmonic guitar solo, the lyrics are eerily poignant and explore the dangers of mob mentality and how radical ideologies target children and young people online.

Intro

Forthaven is a Liverpool based musical collective, which at the time of writing (2024)  Jay Roberts as composer and producer, Alistair Ligertwood on cello, and Karl McCann on vocals, synths and composition. We have been away for a long time, having some significant success in 2014, now re-formed and looking to the future.
We passionately all believe in mental health related matters, and strongly endorse any causes which are related to this.
