At the 2018 Golden Gate Kennel Club Dog Show- sounds from the exposition hall where the breeders/handlers wait to show their dogs.  The show takes place at San Francisco's venerable Cow Palace, an enormous venue with a funny name.

Benicia, California is connected to Martinez, California by a bridge across the Carquinez Strait.

This recording was taken on the pedestrian causeway near the Northern end of the bridge; the rhythmic sound is car tires passing over earthquake expansion joints in the bridge.

There's some kind of artifact in the beginning, which happens when you re-use tapes and don't wipe them before heading out again; but I left it because it's interesting.

Bay Area based field-recordist preferring and using exclusively analog equipment; hoping to create urban soundscapes that capture the culture and feel of a specific place and time.
