So on our current tour we decided to do something special for those unable to make it out to these shows. We're going to be recording a song everyday on an iPhone using an external mic and post them daily in series we are going to call the iPhone Sessions. This first one is us performing "Someday" by the Strokes in a hotel room. There is the obvious guitar and vocals, but the percussion in this recording is an empty guitar case and an Advil bottle as a shaker. Enjoy and stay tuned for more songs!

This was recorded after load-in at our show in Pontiac, Michigan. Nick recorded it by himself in the van. This is one of his favorite Phoenix songs, and in his opinion has some of the strongest moments on their "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" record. We recorded this in the van outside The Outpost in Kent, Ohio. Danny did some footstomps and claps on the plastic liner by the van doors. Mikey did some shaker in the back row, while Nick, Jimmy, and Jon crammed up front around the mic doing vocals, acoustic guitar, and ukulele. ENJOY!
